The Circus Hits town
The opening night of the Great Moscow Circus at Salamander was gifted as a charity night to our local Mayor Bob Westbury to raise funds for local charities of his choice. The Real Futures Program was one beneficiary of the $25,000 raised. As the major sponsor of the Real Futures Program - a ready for work program conducted in our two local high schools, Soldiers Point Marina purchased 40 tickets for our customers to attend and enjoy.

Music on the Water – Seafari
A stunning Port Stephens summer day saw over 20 boats head out to North Arm Cove for a day on the water, drop anchor with everyone relaxing, eating seafood and listening to live music.

Marina Massages
Complimentary head and shoulder massages on the marina were greeted with gusto by customers lining up for some pampering. Our new beauty therapist Jill is working from the marina on most days and at other times by appointment

“Stinkers” Free Fishing Clinic
Another welcomed annual event – local fishing guru John “Stinker” Clarke kept his audience enthralled with his extensive local knowledge of all the best fishing spots and how to have lots of fun along the way. When it came time for a practical demonstration on the waterfront no one was more amazed than him when he hooked a good size flathead with his first throw!
