Ask Congress to Support New Bill Creating Tax-Free

Savings Accounts for People with Disabilities

The Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) Act of 2011 would enable contributions to tax-free 529 savings accounts for people with autism and other disabilities.

The new law would amend Section 529 of the Internal Revenue Service Code to allow individuals with disabilities and their families to deposit earnings to tax-exempt savings accounts. The funds could be used to pay for qualified expenses, including education, housing and transportation, and would supplement, not replace, benefits provided through private insurance, employment or public programs.

Here is how YOU can help:

1) Contact your member of Congress and your Senators to ask for their support.
You can email them here.

2) Spread the word!
Ask your friends and family to help you by getting involved and sending in a quick email of their own or post to your own Facebook Page. Link to www.autismvotes.org/action-able.
