Harriet P. Schleifer, Esq., presented "Parents for Parents: Navigating the System and Knowing Your Rights at District Meetings" at the Rosenthal JCC, Pleasantville, New York, on November 4.

 

Adrienne J. Arkontaky, Esq., will discuss advocating for the educational rights of children with special needs on "As Your Are" at 9:00 p.m., December 1, on LMC-TV (Cablevision Channel 75 - Larchmont, Mamaroneck and Rye Neck, New York; Verizon Fios Channel 36 - Port Chester to New Rochelle, New York). The show will be repeated for 30 days on Thursdays at 3:00 a.m., 9:00 a.m., and 3:00 p.m.

 

Bernard A. Krooks, Esq., will speak on "Elder Law and Estate Planning-Oil and Vinegar?" on November 18 at the National Association of Estate Planners and Council's 47th Annual Conference and Council Leadership Day in San Diego.
