Bernard A. Krooks Named an Accredited Estate Planner
June 28, 2010 (White Plains, New York)--Bernard A. Krooks, managing partner of law firm Littman
Krooks LLP, is newly certified as an Accredited Estate Planner by the National
Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC). This designation is
awarded to estate planning professionals who meet stringent requirements of
experience, knowledge, education, professional reputation, and character. Only 350 attorneys in the U.S. have qualified
to be Accredited Estate Planners. They must embrace the team concept of estate
planning and adhere to the NAEPC code of ethics.
The Accredited Estate Planner certification is a graduate
level specialization in estate planning, obtained in addition to already
recognized professional credentials within the various disciplines of estate
planning. It is available to attorneys, chartered
life underwriters, certified public accountants, certified financial planners,
chartered financial consultants, and certified trust and financial advisors.
Bernard Krooks, who is also a certified public accountant, is
the newly elected president of the Estate Planning Council of Westchester
County. He has been recognized as one of the "Best

and as a "New York Super Lawyer."
NAEPC is a national organization of professional estate
planners and affiliated local estate planning councils focused on establishing
