please come to a vigil and memorial service in his honor
dead horse 54th st We join Win Animal Rights, Friends of Animals and other animal advocates to remember Charlie, the carriage horse whose life was ended on the mean streets of NYC last Sunday morning.
  • WHEN: Friday evening - October 28th
  • TIME: 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
  • WHERE: north/west corner of Central Park South & Fifth Avenue
  • WHAT: a vigil and memorial service to honor the life of Charlie, the carriage horse who died on Sunday
  • NOTE: candles will be supplied but if you can, please bring your own in case we run out; bring a bouquet of flowers too
  • CAUTION: Please note that if you come after 7:30-8:00, the group may have moved on .

We represent the 75% of New Yorkers who want to see this archaic industry shut down. PLEASE JOIN US FOR CHARLIE! let his death be remembered and not in vain.
