CARRIAGE ACCIDENT LAST SATURDAY
NYC - Columbus Circle - not reported by media
damaged car At 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 1st, a horse pulling a carriage in NYC spooked and crashed at the intersection of Central Park South and Columbus Circle. We do not know if he was injured. Eyewitnesses reported that the horse began to buck and rear, charging across Central Park South against traffic. He sideswiped several cars before crashing. The media never picked it up! We wonder how many other accidents like this one go unreported.

The ASPCA was not present and has not issued any public statements on this accident or the unsuitability of mixing slow moving horse-drawn carriages in traffic and putting horses at great risk. WHY? This is an ideal time for them to speak out for the horses, especially since they were missing in action at the Mayor's bill signing last week.

The pictures obtained do not show much but you can see that the car was damaged.

PLEASE COME TO A DEMO FOR THE HORSES
