$5,000 for Your Kid's School!
Americans for the Arts and KRIS wines have teamed up for the second annual "Art of Education" program. 16 schools will be awarded a total of $25,000 to improve academic achievement through quality arts education.
No application necessary! Click here to go to KRIS Wine's Facebook page and cast your vote for your favorite K-12 public school to win.
Participants 21 years and older can vote one time per day through November 30. The school with the winning number of votes will be awarded $5,000. The next five schools receiving the top number of votes will receive $2,000. Schools that rank sixth through 16th in total number of votes will receive $1,000.

Lowe's Toolbox for Education Grant Program
Through the Toolbox for Education grant program, Lowe's Charitable and Educational Foundation will donate funds to U.S. public schools and public school parent teacher groups at more than one thousand public schools. Grants range from $2,000 - $5,000.

ING Unsung Heroes Awards
100 educators will be selected to receive $2,000 to help fund their innovative classroom projects. Three of the chosen educators will also be selected to receive the top awards of an additional $5,000, $10,000 and $25,000.

Odaiko New England's Juni Kobayashi
The Board of Directors of Odaiko New England, one of Young Audiences of Massachusetts' Roster Artists and the area's oldest and most prominent taiko company, has officially named Juni Kobayashi as its Artistic Director.
