In Music and Social Change, Alastair Moock introduces students to the music that shaped and connected three of America's most important movements for social change: the labor rights, the civil rights, and the anti-war movements of the 1960's and 1970's. In the Post-Performance Songwriting Workshop, he teaches students how to write their own songs.

Native American Storytelling features Robin Pease, who is of Mohawk descent, drawing on her heritage as she takes you on a journey with Touch the Earth and/or Pushing Up the Sky. The program includes audience participation in the form of songs, language, dance, and games.
Grades K-12
In Recuerdo Ser Simpatico (Remember to be Nice) Robin Pease tells the story of a mean turtle who learns the value of friendship and remembers to be nice. During the program, students participate in Spanish language, song, and learn about animals and places in Costa Rica. In Taal Tales Tara Ahmed presents the history of classical South Indian dance and performances of dance pieces celebrating various deities. With elements of storytelling, rhythmic footwork and athletic grace, Kuchipudi relays vivid stories from Hindu mythology.

Healing Arts for Kids, a program of Young Audiences of Massachusetts - Arts for Learning, was awarded second year funding support from "Arts Connect All" grant. A team of Young Audiences staff and teaching artists are invited to participate in the International VSA Education Conference: Contours of Inclusive Arts Teaching and Learning, from April 28-30, 2011, in Boston Massachusetts.
