July at Young Audiences of Massachusetts (YAMA) brings the first installment of the hotly anticipated New Roster Programs! Keep your cool and book your programs early.
It is an exciting time here at Young Audiences - new artists, new ideas, and new programs. This summer, Young Audiences goes beyond the classroom and into the community, with YAMA
residency artist Frantz Louizia of Mass Movement leading
youth in an exciting program of Hip Hop and African Dance being offered in Mission Hill, Boston. And if you are looking for a truly great edge-of-your-seat summer read, we highly recommend YAMA author Michael Tougias' latest novel Overboard! A True Bluewater Odyssey of Disaster and Survival. Michael, a nationally renowned, award-winning author of 18 books, offers a wide variety of school programs for Grades K-12, so don't miss out on your chance to introduce Michael to your school community!
Stay tuned for our 2010-2011 catalogue arriving in your August mail and don't forget to Save the Date for our Fall Showcase on September 27th.
Stay cool and happy summer!
