Polluted Purses
This is gross but true: Purses have about 70 times more bacteria on them than the average toilet seat, as reported by an environmental microbiologist at The University of Arizona in Tucson. He warns that you should not toss your purse onto a surface you often touch or where you prepare food, like the kitchen counter. Now who doesn't do that? Yikes. A better option is to put up a hook so you can immediately hang your bag when you come inside. Anybody feel like shopping for a new purse today?
