 | Pre-school open house
| Join us at Harmony Hall Regional Center on Thursday, August 25, from 7-8 pm for our 3rd Annual Preschool Open House. Parents will have the opportunity to learn about our fall pre-school session that begins Tuesday, September 6. In addition, you can meet preschool staff, tour the classroom and play area, and get an overview of the curriculum. For more information, click here.

 | Laurel-Beltsville Senior Activity Center

 Opening on August 27, Laurel-Beltsville Senior Activity Center is a state-of-the-art facility located at 7120 Contee Road in Laurel, MD. This gorgeous, 23,500-square foot venue will offer a variety of classes, activities and special events. The great room includes a stage and catering kitchen (and it can be divided into 4 classrooms)!  | Back-to-school bash
| We all know that it's time for school to begin! Before you get back to your daily school routine, come out and enjoy a night full of fun! Xtreme Teens, ages 13-17, are invited to join us on Saturday, August 27, at Potomac Landing Community Center from 7-10 pm. The fun includes a local DJ, dance contest and refreshments for a fee of $6/person. Hope to see you there!

 | Xtreme Teens sneaker drive | Give the gift of fitness this fall season! From September 1-30, you have the opportunity to help those in poor farm villages in Ghana, West Africa. Be sure to stop by your local community center to donate new or used athletic shoes. This selfless act will help lift a family out of poverty by providing water access, irrigation systems, seeds for crops, training and livestock.  In remembrance of the 10th anniversary of September 11, come support your local servicemen and women at Prince George's Plaza Community Center on Saturday, September 10 from 1-3 pm!
