Black Woman Defined Book Cover Come meet Sophia Nelson, author of Black Woman Redefined, at Betty's Place & Caf� at the Prince George's Sports & Learning Complex on Friday, July 29, at 7 pm.  Ms. Nelson will use her new book as the foundation for a discussion on the "pathway[s] and solutions for black women to reach beyond the stereotypes that often limit them, and the achievements that often define them." Women and the men who love them are invited to attend this FREE program and engage in insightful conversation. America's pastime returns to Hyattsville
baseball The whole family is invited to watch a FREE, fun baseball game at 12 noon on Sunday, July 31. Magruder Park (3911 Hamilton Street, Hyattsville) will be home to a game between the Potomac Nine of Washington and the Cecil Baseball Club. Enjoy baseball as it was originally played in the 19th century on the field locally know as Wine's Field. For information call 301-985-5020.
