Support Teen Cotillion participants
chevysWednesday, March 23 is "Teen Cotillion Family Restaurant Day" at Chevys Fresh Mex Restaurant in Greenbelt. If you dine at Chevys between 11 am and 10 pm, please let your server know that you are participating in the M-NCPPC Teen Cotillion Fundraiser so that 25% of your bill will be donated to Teen Cotillion participants' fundraising efforts. Thank you for your help supporting this program that provides leadership and growth opportunities to Prince George's County teens.

Teens ages 13-17 are invited to attend a FREE fishing trip to Cosca Regional Park. Participants will leave from Stephen Decatur Community Center in Clinton at 9 am on Saturday, March 26, and return at approximately 12 noon. Those age 16 & up must have a fishing license. To register, or to have questions about the trip answered, please call staff at 301-297-4648. Note: The registration deadline is March 24.
Visit College Park Community Center for martial arts and more
karate 3Come to an Aikido Martial Arts one-day seminar, and/or a FREE Aikido demonstration. College Park Community Center is hosting these events on Saturday, March 26, for people ages 16 & up. Aikido, a martial art popularized in Steven Segal movies, sharpens awareness, increases self-confidence and teaches personal defense techniques. The full-day seminar runs from 9 am-4 pm and costs $10/person for residents and $12/person for non-residents. The FREE one-hour demonstration class will be offered from 11 am-12 noon. Attend a special program for girls 
teen girls sitting togetherCalling all Prince George's County females ages 13-17... You are cordially invited to attend a For Girls Only program at Harmony Hall Regional Center in Fort Washington on Saturday, March 26, from 7-10 pm. With a focus on empowerment and fun, the program will include self-defense, Wii game challenges, guest speakers, hip hop performers, entertainment, refreshments, music and prizes. Admission is FREE with your M-NCPPC Youth ID card! For more information call 301-203-6040.
Order tickets to a really "cool" show
cinderella on iceHerbert Wells Ice Rink (College Park) is hosting three performances of its spring show, Cinderella, starring the rink's learn-to-skate students and staff! Tickets are only $5/person and show dates/times are Saturday, April 2 at 3 pm; Saturday, April 2, at 6 pm; and Sunday, April 3, at 3 pm. Doors open 30 minutes before show times. kayakIt's official; winter's over!  It's time to engage in your favorite outdoor spring activities. Walk, jog, or take a bicycle ride on a trail. Enjoy a game of tennis, basketball or horseshoes at your local park. Paddle a kayak or a canoe. Go fishing or bird watching. Take Fido to a dog park and socialize with other pet owners. Enjoy archery, bocce, cricket, disc golf or trap and skeet. Play a round of golf or hit a bucket of balls at a driving range. Make a trip to Old Maryland Farm to see the animals. Sign up for a FREE SMARTlink account at any M-NCPPC community center in the county, and request a FREE fitness room ID card.
