 | Head "Wright" to College Park Aviation Museum for a great family experience
| College Park Aviation Museum is a beautiful, state-of-the-art facility that features animatronics and interactive exhibits that tell the story of College Park Airport - the "World's Oldest Continuously Operating Airport." The museum highlights many significant aviation achievements that have occurred since Wilbur Wright taught the first military aviators to fly.  | Attend a jazz workshop |  Jazz pianist Lafayette Gilchrist will give a FREE workshop at Montpelier Arts Center (Laurel) on Friday, March 18 at 4 pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for the jazz enthusiast or budding jazz pianist. Mr. Gilchrist will talk about how he developed his own style of playing within the broader context of both jazz piano styles and history, and he will illustrate this theme by playing selected pieces.  | Enjoy an amazing dance performance
| The Prince George's Publick Playhouse (Cheverly) is hosting the 9th Annual World Dance Showcase on Saturday, March 19 at 8 pm. The evening's lineup includes Alma Boliviana, DC Casineros, Jayantika Dance Company, Kalinka Dance Ensemble, Washington Korean Dance Company and Xuejuan Dance Studio. These performers will display their rich dance heritage and beautiful, traditional costumes. Tickets are $12/person; $10/students, seniors, groups of 15 or more and Dance Pass holders.  | Plan your summer fun
| Summer playground programs and Summer Xtreme Teen Centers will be conducted at neighborhood locations throughout the county Mondays-Fridays between June 27 and August 5. Summer playground programs are for Prince George's County residents ages 6-12, and Xtreme Teen Center programs are for residents ages 13-17. Registration for both programs begins at 9 am on April 1.  | Visit the Surratt House Museum before you see The Conspirator
| The Conspirator, a new film directed by Robert Redford, will be distributed for theatrical release next month. The movie focuses on the trial of Mary Surratt, who was convicted of conspiring with John Wilkes Booth, President Abraham Lincoln's assassin. Before you go to the movie, be sure to visit and tour the Surratt House Museum to learn some fascinating history and find out how this local farmhouse is infamously connected to the Lincoln assassination.  April 8 is officially Visit a Park Day. There's plenty for everyone to enjoy at M-NCPPC parks throughout Prince George's County. Take a walk, ride a bicycle, fly a kite, or playball.. Enjoy kayaking, canoeing, walking your dog, having a picnic, and more. Visit www.pgparks.com and click on the bar on the right side of the page that says Find a Park. You'll be able to search by park name, zip code, or park amenities to find a park for your family's outing.
