| Learn the art of silver soldering at College Park Community Center. Artist Lucy Dirksen will teach you to design sterling silver jewelry that you create yourself from old scraps. Cut, punch, melt, hammer and solder to form beautiful new jewelry. Tools and materials will be available from the instructor. This class, for those ages 16 & up, meets on Thursdays for 8 weeks beginning immediately. Fees are $120/residents and $144/non-residents. Register for course #516264 through SMARTlink. | The Prince George's Ballroom is hosting a special, FREE Black History Month Exhibit, Our Mothers, Our Sisters, Our Stars from February 11 through February 28 between 10 am and 4 pm. A FREE reception, for this exhibit will be held on Friday, February 11, from 11 am-2 pm. This exhibit honors the legacy of notable African American women, their lives, struggles and accomplishments. | Teens (ages 13-17) are invited to the FREE "Take a Chance at Love" Valentine's Cabaret at the Prince George's Ballroom (Landover).  | Have fun at your local ice skating rink more | Tucker Road Ice Rink (Fort Washington) is hosting a "Bring a Friend for FREE" public ice skating session on Saturday, February 12, from 8-10 pm in celebration of Valentine's Day. Be sure to stop by with a friend! For more information call 301-265-1525. Herbert Wells Ice Rink (College Park) is celebrating National Hockey Month and you're invited to several great events. Cheer on the University of Maryland men's ice hockey team as they take on Georgetown in a college hockey matchup on Saturday, February 12 at 7 pm. It's Hockey Jersey Day at Wells Ice Rink on Saturday, February 19 from 2:30-4:30 pm.
