The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission has lots for everyone to enjoy here in Prince George's County. Join a ladies golf league, or attend a concert/tea, a home and landscape show, or a terrific living history program. Explore the park system and enjoy the social, healthy, fun recreation programs and activities.

golf clubsThe Paint Branch Ladies Golf League would love to have women of all ages join! League play is held at Paint Branch Golf Course Thursdays at 9 am and continues through late October. Dust off the woods and the irons and head out to the course for great times. The fee to join the league is only $15 for the year; greens fees are $10/nine holes for those ages 60 & better, and $14/nine holes for those under age 60. Harmony Hall stageEnjoy an Afternoon Tea program at arts/ Harmony Hall Regional Center on Wednesday, April 14 at 2 pm. Los Compadres will delight listeners with award-wining vocals, authentic Mexican mariachi music and selections from other Latin American countries. The ShowPlace Arena facadeThe Suburban Maryland Spring Home & Landscape Show is designed for homeowners in all stages of remodeling, landscaping and decorating. March through time more
Marching Through TimeSpend a day at Marietta House Museum for the Marching through Time program. This living history encampment encompasses re-enactors from Bronze Age Celts through the 20th century Vietnam War. Visitors will experience camp and domestic life, military drills, period merchants, crafts, food and more. An exciting children's activity has been added this year. No pets, please. Marching through Time will be held Saturday, April 17 & Sunday, April 18, from 11 am-4 pm. FREE parking is available at Glenn Dale Community Center; continuous shuttle service to the event will be provided. The fee is $5/person; children 4 & under are FREE. lifeguardBladensburg Community Center's T-ball classes for girls and boys ages 4-6 begins on Saturday, April 24. Classes will meet for 6 consecutive Saturdays from 2-2:45 pm.
