Through traditional songs, stories, and games, teaching artists guide children to discover the joys of seasonal celebrations, cultural heritage, and collaborative endeavors.

Revels in the ParadeOur hardy band of Revelers -- adults, teens, and children -- will dress in white bedecked with multi-colored sashes, arm ribbons and flower garlands (supplied by us). 

 

This event is loads of fun and anyone can participate, but we need you to sign up!

"Andalusian Treasures: A Tale of Old Spain"

Two adventurers. Three ancient cultures.

Four hundred years of riches. 

Eight performances at GW Lisner Auditorium:
December 3-4 & 9-11

Our tale begins over 1000 years ago in al-Andalus, where three cultures flourished -- Sephardic, Moorish and Iberian. Two adventurers stumble upon a treasure-filled chamber.  

 

But what is the greatest treasure?  Become part of the magic and discover for yourself...

Sea SingingJoin Maritime Voices for sea chanteys and much more, celebrating the role of maritime music and tradition in life aboard ship and in the ports.

Takoma Park Folk Festival offers music and dance from around the world on seven stages, plus kids' activities, crafts, food, and community booths.

Donate by October 2!

   

Donors of $100 or more receive early ticket priority to the 2011 Christmas Revels and a discount on ticket fees. Donors of $500 or more receive top ticket priority, a waiver of all ticket fees, two complimentary tickets to the 2011 Christmas Revels, plus free admission to any other Revels program. Tickets go on sale to the public on Monday, October 3.
