Washington Folk Festival, June 5 Maritime Voices Sing Sea Songs |
 Washington Revels Maritime Voices will present a selection of traditional chanteys and other "Songs of Sea & Shore" at the 31st annual Washington Folk Festival at Glen Echo Park.

The City of Alexandria is hosting their annual street festival with performing arts, crafts, exhibits, a film festival, and food.
Jubilee Voices will sing to open the festival, presenting African American traditions.

Washington Revels SunFest, June 19

Join Washington Revels for our second annual SunFest, a vibrant performing arts festival in downtown Silver Spring on June 19. This free, family-friendly street fair features a wide variety of traditional performing arts, with an emphasis on sun and summer celebrations from around the world. Two stages of entertainment presenting traditions from Africa, Asia, Europe, South America and the U.S., including a fusion of many traditions by The Pushovers and Afrikan Rhapsody. Two days, eight sites, lots of dynamic history! Washington Revels Heritage Voices, Jubilee Voices, and Maritime Voices will sing. Historic characters will meet and greet. You'll learn a lot and have a great time at historic places all around Montgomery County.
