Auction Action Now Online Auction Closes Tuesday, so Bid NOW

Washington Revels' annual online auction is going on NOW. There are nearly a hundred amazing dining options, experiences, artworks, museum memberships, and more -- at all price points there's something for everyone! And everyone benefits, because all auction proceeds support Revels educational and outreach programs.
New items have been added, and some opening bids reduced. The auction ends at 9:00pm on April 26, so don't delay!

Play Through the Ages! Spring Workshops Begin Next Week |
Through traditional music, dance, stories and games, our teaching artists guide youth in grades K-6 to discover the joys of seasonal celebrations, cultural heritage, and collaboration. Registration is still open for the 2011 Spring term (April 4-June 10). Please spread the word and share the joy with the next generation of Revelers.

Madrigals and Maypole, April 30 at the FONA Garden Fair & Plant Sale |
On Saturday, April 30, Washington Revels Gallery Voices will entertain with madrigals and some traditional Revels songs of Spring to celebrate the greening of the year at the annual Friends of the National Arboretum (FONA) Garden Fair and Plant Sale. Performances will occur throughout the day between 11:00-2:00pm. Once an hour, we will dance around the Maypole and invite fairgoers to join in.

Celebrate Spring on May Day! Come to the Audubon Nature Fair, May 1 |
As we have for over 25 years, Washington Revels will "bring in the May" with song, dance, a mummers play, and audience participation. Join us as we crown the May Queen, process with the Padstow May 'Oss, and dance around the Maypole (and we will ask you to join us!). We will present two separate shows at the glorious Woodend Nature Sanctuary (1:30 and 3:15pm).

Happenings at the Harman, May 4 Celebrate La Dolce DC with Gallery Voices |
 Washington Revels Gallery Voices will present a program of part songs, madrigals, solos and duets in celebration of La Dolce DC. We welcome spring, Italian style, with music of Rossini, Cavalli, di Medici, Willaert, di Lasso, and more. This FREE lunchtime concert takes place at the Sidney Harman Theater in Washington, DC.
