Teaching artists guide youth in grades K-6 to discover the joys of seasonal celebrations, cultural heritage, and collaborative endeavors.
Registration is now open for the Fall term (September 20-November 19) on a first-come, first-served basis.

Sea SingingThis program of nautical songs and rituals celebrates the men who manned the great sailing ships and the women who sustained the life of the seafaring communities ashore, highlighting the role of maritime music and tradition in life aboard ship and in the ports.

at Corcoran Gallery of Art
painting of sailboatWashington Revels salutes the varied and diverse art of America at the Corcoran Gallery of Art with a program celebrating the songs and traditions of American life spanning four centuries.  This program is a part of Free Summer Saturdays at the Corcoran -- performances take place at 11:00am and 12:30pm.

Labor Day Parade, September 6
March with us in Kensington, MD...
Washington Revels Parade GroupOur hardy band of Revelers - adults, teens, and children - will dress in white bedecked with multi-colored sashes, arm ribbons and flower garlands (supplied by Revels). We will be accompanied by the Hobby Horse, Snap the Dragon, bright banners and ribbon sticks, and more! Come march (and sing, for those who wish)!

Teen & Children's Auditions, September 10-12
for the 2010 Christmas Revels
child on stageWashington Revels is seeking strong performers entering grades 3-5 and 9-12 in Fall 2010 for the teen and children's choruses for the 2010 Christmas Revels.

The Washington Revels community reflects our larger community; we therefore seek to create a diverse cast consisting of strong performers of all backgrounds and ancestries.
