Meet Executive Chef Darren Maas; have a Lavagna (like a Cosmo but better); sample the simple, fresh dishes Chef Darren will be debuting on Lavagna's menu. Get the details on Lavagna's Farm to Table program: "The freshest and highest quality ingredients we can offer come from this region," says owner, Stephen Cheung. Yes!Organic Market Nears Completion Countdown to Opening Day
Barracks Row's newest business, Yes! Organic Market is opening very soon; it could even be as soon as this weekend.
Shelves are built, walls are painted, the airy front windows are sparkling clean, the sign is up. We all know it's about to happen but it appears even the owners don't quite know when. As you run errands on Barracks Row this week, don't forget to drop by 410 8th Street, SE; it could very well be their long awaited opening day.
With the transformation of the old Blockbuster building created by the Yes!Organic Market renovation and the opening later in August of Chipotle at 413 8th Street, SE, the first block of 8th Street, SE, is beginning to sport a new vibe, in-keeping with the feel of the bustling 500 and 700 blocks of Barracks Row.
