Taste of 8^th, the annual restaurant sampling event hosted by Barracks Row Main Street will be held on Saturday, April 28, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The entire event takes place outside in the sidewalk cafés along 8^th Street, SE. The restaurants prepare their most popular, newest or most unusual dishes and participants use their tasting tickets to buy samplings. Tickets are $5.00 each or 5 for $20.00. Tickets are sold on the Barracks Row website, www.barracksrow.org as well as at the ticket booth at 8^th and G Street, SE, the day of the event. Purchasing tickets in advance is advised; this event traditionally sells out quickly. Proceeds benefit Barracks Row Main Street.

The entire menu of all dishes being served during Taste of 8^th is available during the event making it easy to strategically plan an afternoon of sampling, beginning with appetizers and ending with dessert.
