Greetings from Barracks Row Main Street!
 Barracks Row's E-Cruzers made the
cover of the Washington Post today. The article, "Thanks to SE Carts, a
New Type of Fleet Street," by Dan Zak, refers to E-Cruzers as the
"limousine golf carts" which take Barracks Row patrons and Nationals
fans to and from the stadium in Southwest on game days and during lunch hour for area workers. Entrepreneur
Russell Rankin owns the carts and they are sponsored by Molly Malone's,
Lola's Barracks Bar & Grill, Ugly Mug, Banana Cafe, Starfish Cafe,
and Indian Tandoor. Best of all, they are FREE to riders (but don't forget to tip your driver)! Those in the know hurdle onto these carts to go
between the Stadium and Barracks Row on game days, stopping at the
local restaurants of course for pre and post-game spirits. There's a
game tonight at 7:05, and two more this weekend. Visit washington.nationals.mlb.com for a complete schedule. Catch an E-Cruzer on Barracks Row, or in Southwest, or call 443-497-4769 for dispatch. |
