Complaining vs. Resourcefulness
Almost there! In our quest to build the "Five Questions" that will help to keep you in a positive mindset every day, here's our next big question:
Question #1: What is my "Success of the Day?"
Question #2: What do I need to let go of?
Question #3: What am I creating? (And what small step can I take towards its creation?)
Question #4: Where do I need to be more resourceful?
In 2009, you were either a victor or a victim. And so it will be in 2010. We've already seen the recession. Now what? Your success going forward will not be determined by the economy, the banking system, or the politicians. It will be 100% determined by you. Period.
To get new results will require finding different answers to the questions we have.
My favorite quote from Anthony Robbins is, "We never have a lack of resources. We often have a lack of resourcefulness." There's enough money. There are enough patients. There's enough time. There's enough love. Who of us will be the most resourceful in 2010 (and then probably be called "lucky"?) Who will make the connections and network for answers? Who will be willing to change what they're doing and how it's always been done to reflect the new reality? Who will be willing to shake up their current beliefs for ones that will serve them better?
I will! How about you? Join me?
