Children are Welcome
We are a child friendly congregation and love that you bring your children to temple on High Holy Days!
Children are welcome to pray, sing and dance with us. When we're sitting, please have children sit with you in a seat and not on the floor in the aisles due to safety regulations.
We have also become aware that Yizkor and the Rabbi's sermon do not enhance your children's experiences. To assure everyone has the most connected holy day, please step outside with your young children or take them to the babysitting room during Yizkor and sermons. Doors are closed during sermons, so please enter and leave prior to or following the sermon.

MEDICAL QIGONG & LAUGHTER YOGA - Lisa Lumiere, Practitioner of Chinese Medicine & Medical Qigong

Our ancient Chinese meditative practice uses slow, non-strenuous movement, controlled breathing, and focused intention to enhance the circulation of the qi (chi) life-force energy throughout our bodies. Many people feel more connected with G-d by experiencing an energetic oneness with nature and the universe. Regular practice improves health, strength, and can even reverse disease. Join us for Qigong and stay for the laughter yoga.

GUIDED MEDITATION - Rev. Ann Kurtzman, CH, SMC, NLP

As we go through our day-to-day life, it's easy to get caught up, to forget to connect with the pure soul G-d restores to us each day. At times we forget who we really are...and confuse who we are with what we do, or the attitudes we hold. On this Holy Day of At-one-ment, join with me and others of our holy community, and continue to empty...to let go...of all that is not "you"...to relax with and embrace your beautiful & perfect soul...as we continue to be at one with the Angels.

MAINTAIN YOUR YK BLISSFUL STATE THROUGH DRAWING! - Jenae Rubin

Bring a sketch pad, pencil(s), eraser and sharpener. We'll loosen up by activating the right side of our brains with a little blind contour drawing (don't worry if you don't know what it is!) Then we'll leave our worries and concerns behind ... where they belong... as we draw and learn and see the world anew. If you wish to bring pastels, charcoal or other drawing media, feel free. Some of us may go long, so find us after another class and join us.

Celebrate the "Season of Rejoicing" TAO style. Join TAO as we experience a communion with nature and commemorate the divine protection that we received after the departure from Egypt. As we sit communally in the Sukkah we are grateful for the abundance of the land and the harvest. We feel our vulnerability, yet we feel safe because we sense God's surrounding presence. We celebrate the simplicity of life's joys and experience intimacy, fun and mystical awakening as we come to recognize that the most important possession we must acquire and earn during our brief time on earth is the connection to God. Please bring a parve or vegetarian dish. RSVP to TAO office -
