Dear Parade Contact Person, 

If you have already read through the original email and circulated the information to your parade participants, you can discard this email.  It has the same information.

The original email was sent with our Constant Contact program and it gives us some very interesting reports. Apparently, we have several people who have not opened their emails.

We also have several groups who just registered this week. Consequently, we are sending this out AGAIN to everyone just to keep everyone informed.  We have the latest line up in this email with the latest registrations.

 You will find everything you need to know about the 2011 Souderton Holiday Parade on December 3, 2011 in this newsletter. 

This email will provide you with all the information that you have always received by postal mail. Your comments about online access to Parade materials has led us to believe that this email will better help you communicate within your organization.
 
Please feel free to forward this email to participants, drivers, parents and anyone else who will be enjoying  Parade Day. 
 
Parade volunteers will hand out the dash plaques to drivers when they arrive at either Grace Bible Parking Lot or Indian Crest Parking Lot. Please make sure your drivers know where they should go and what time to arrive. This information is below.

The Line Up
Just follow this link to the most updated lineup of the parade.  

This lineup document will change as we draw near to Parade Day and late registrations come in, but your number within the line up will not change. Latecomers will be added with additional numbers and letters, if necessary. 
 
You can download this document with confidence that your line up number, time of arrival and time of departure and lineup location will NOT change. 
 
If the line up shows that your group is lining up at Grace Bible Church Parking Lot, here's a handy guide to where in the lot you should meet up before heading out to Main Street. 
 
Route Map
This map is a favorite of parents who drop off kids at the beginning of the parade and must pick them up at the end.

It is also handy for finding parking near your favorite spectator location. Feel free to print and circulate it or just send an email with this link or forward this email. 
 
Parade Rules
These rules remain relatively unchanged from year-to-year. If this is your first year, you want to read through them carefully. 

The main item that we receive questions about is the tossing of candy. Please keep in mind that we do not want anyone throwing candy from the moving vehicles. Small children are unpredictable and can be relied on to do the unexpected, including darting in front of a vehicle to grab a piece of candy. You can handout candy and make the kids happy! 
 
 
Summer Parade
Souderton Borough will be celebrating their 125th Anniversary in 2012.  To celebrate, they are looking to fill the year with many exciting activities. This includes a summer parade. 

Save Saturday, June 23, 2012 for a Summer Parade and start thinking about the fun you will have in a parade that does not require long johns. 

Souderton Telford Main Streets will be helping with behind-the-scenes logistics. Consequently, the same online sign up will be used as for the summer parade. Watch for details and your invitation to participate!
