Happy Holidays Reader,
Thanksgiving is already over and it's time to think about Christmas.
In Souderton, that means the Parade on Saturday, Dec. 4 at 11 am. Below we have all the information you need to enjoy this tradition with your friends and family.
This year, we have added more excitement post-parade. Let us know if you enjoy it.
The excitement spreads to Telford On Friday, Dec. 10 with caroling, Santa, a big tree and hot cider. Does it get any more Classic than that? To liven things up further, we are adding a big elf to the mix this year.
As I scramble to get all the behind-the-scenes organizing done for the Parade, I truly appreciate the help that volunteers have been providing.
Nancy Owen has been here nearly daily to help in so many ways. Many others are working from home or their offices to provide their assistance and expertise.
The guys at Sitecats have been amazing. They have fixed glitches on the website and polished up my rudimentary graphics ability for the fliers and ads.
The volunteers who are willing to help direct traffic and parade units and a host of other behind-the-scenes chores for the Parade are the unsung heroes of the Parade Day.
At the Parade, when you see a volunteer in an orange vest, give them a cheer. They are the ones making everything run smoothly on Parade Day.
On another note, thank you to all the generous supporters who have donated to help Souderton Telford Main Streets. Those checks and online donations are still arriving!
Each and every one of those donations is a vote of confidence that we are going in the right direction toward revitalizing the Boroughs. Thank you.
Now on to all the wonderful things to do this month to celebrate Christmas, New Years and our wonderful community!
May you have a Classic Christmas in our Classic Towns and a Happy and Safe New Year from your friends and colleagues at Souderton Telford Main Streets.
Sincerely,
|

Saturday, December 4 at 11 am
Line up along Main and East Broad Streets in Souderton on Saturday morning to enjoy the 52nd Annual Souderton Holiday Parade.
If you want even more entertainment value, find a spot near the top of the hill at the intersection of Main and Broad Street.
You will be able to listen to the broadcast of Jim Church and Bruce Kenworthy as they announce the parade as it streams past.
If you know either one of these gentlemen (and most people know one or both of them,) you know the colorful banter they provide!
If you, your organization or business still want to join in the parade itself, we are still accepting registrations. Just go to our website to register online.
If you want to follow along with a line up of the units in the parade, you can download that from the website also. You will find the parade route map and available public parking lots for your convenience, also.
