Dear Reader,

Doesn't Mother Nature know that they need all this snow at the Winter Olympics? They can have it!

In spite of all the dreadful snow we have been getting, this is still a very busy time of the year. The stockpile of news to share is very high.

I posted 7 new articles to the front page of our website last week. Keep the news coming and we will share it.

Sincerely,

Pam Coleman

Governor Rendell will be presenting his proposed budget for the 2010/2011 fiscal year at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 9. That is this morning!

You can either watch
coverage on the Pennsylvania Cable Network  online or broadcast or online at the Governor's site

The state budget will affect so much in our daily lives that it is important that we stay aware of the process this year.

Hat's Off!

Local Winners Abound
hat's off We are surrounded by Winners!

Lacher and Associates were voted in the Top 15 Best Small and Medium Sized Businesses to Work in Pennsylvania. Read an article in the Reporter about it.

Univest was included at the number 7 spot on that list for Large Businesses.

Greg McGovern keeps sending us press releases with the lists that Edward Jones tops. It is such a steady stream that I am embarrassed
to say I can't keep up.

They seem to be racked at the top of any list you name. Edward Jones is highly respected by their professional peers, by their employees and, best of all, by their clients.

We work with Greg McGovern on many levels. It is easy to understand the hoopla!

Ruth and Company have a colleague with personal ties to Haiti that are very deep. Ruth and her staff have put together a special promotion on Friday with the proceeds benefiting an orphanage in Haiti. Stop by for a beautiful opportunity to help others.

Lacher and Associates have create an opportunities for friends, family, clients, colleagues and fellow business people to help the American Red Cross International Response Fund Haiti Relief with a campaign. Check out the details to see how you can help.

Add in all that the local churches and schools have done or are doing to the mix and the Indian Valley once again proves how caring and generous they can be.
