Energy Grants are Available
If your business or building needs to upgrade
its energy systems, now may be the time to do
so.
The Small Business Energy Efficiency Grant
Program will be accepting applications
between now and May 1, 2009 (or until funds
are exhausted).
This program offers grants for 25% up to
$25,000 to acquire certain pieces of
equipment or adopt certain processes that
promote energy efficiency.
The

to the
guidelines and applications.
It is not often that small businesses, the
size we find in our downtowns, have a grant
opportunity like this one.
Don't ignore it!

We want to see as many of these grants as
possible in
Souderton and Telford.

For our February Business Roundtable,
we are
going to do something a little bit different.
We will be going to the Tilly Mint
Tea Room on Chestnut Street in
Souderton. Because she is opening just for
us, we need to fill the 24 available seats.
The date for this event is Feb. 10,
2009.
To do that and to make it more fun, we are
going to be holding a joint Roundtable
with
the new Indian Valley Business Network
Group.
This will give our regular participants a
chance to meet the members of that group and
network with a new, larger group.
Trish needs a full count by Friday, February
6 so she can make enough food. The cost is
$20 plus tax and tip for a full high tea with
savory, salad, mini sandwiches, scones and
deserts.
Please budget two hours from our start
time
of 12:30 pm until we are finished at 2:30 pm.

| Bakers' On Broad Update |
| |
New at Bakers'
On Broad: A combo of whole wheat, rye
and white flour with toasted hazelnuts and
apricots is now available on Tuesdays, and it
is quite a hit!
They now have a rye/pumpernickel swirl loaf
every Thursday, which will replace the jewish
rye and pumpernickel.
For Super Bowl Sunday, pre-oprdering
is strongly recommended. Specials for Super
Bowl Sunday include Asiago sourdough baguette
stuffed with your choice of salami or ham,
plain sourdough baguette stuffed with spinach
and garlic (now available every Friday and
Sunday) and pumpernickel round loaf for dips.
Pre-ordering would be greatly appreciated!
All the normal Sunday Bread will be
available as well.
