Are You Listed?

If your business is located within either Souderton or Telford Boroughs, you can have a free listing on the Souderton-Telford Main Streets website's business directory.

In fact, you create and update your own page in the directory.

Download the guide and follow the step-by-step instructions to get your page listed.

The Main Street staff will approve it for publication after they check for typos and to make sure your business is actually within the borough limits. (Some guy in India keeps trying to get his business listed!)

Don't miss this opportunity to drive traffic to your website! If you do not have a website, this is a great way to have a web presence.

Did we mention this is a free service of the Souderton -Telford Main Streets?

We sent out the email update last week before confirming that the Viet Nam Café could accommodate the Business Roundtable. They are closed on Tuesdays. Consequently, we are moving the November Business Roundtable to the Apple Orchard Café at 12:30 pm on Tuesday, November 11.

Please RSVP if you can attend at the new location. We have several representatives from SCORE attending.

This is a good opportunity to learn what they can do to help new and existing businesses or how you can volunteer with them.

  • Wh o Knew Deer Hunting Was Such a Priority in Telford?
  • The Promotions Committee scheduled the Telford Tree Lighting on Friday, Dec. 5. Everything was set up except for one small detail.

No one from the Borough will be available to build the tree stand or set up the holiday tree that week. They will all be deer hunting that week. Oops.

Not a problem. The Telford Tree Lighting will be held on Friday, December 12 at 7 pm at the Pavilion at the Marketplace at Telford Station. Barn School of Dance will perform excerpts from the Nutcracker.

Mayor Stover will be on hand to welcome Santa. Warm cider and cookies for all.

  • New Tradition Meets an 18 Year Old Tradition
  • Everyone attending The Telford Tree Lighting is encouraged to bring a donation to the Jessica Leshinskie Memorial Holiday Food and Gift Drive.

They need gift cards from grocery stores, Wal-Mart and other stores, gift certificates from restaurants, canned and dry foods or cash. Everything is collected by the Telford Police and distributed to needy, local families.

Donations can be dropped anytime at the Telford Police Department, if you don't plan to join us at the tree lighting.
