Keeping up is the Challenge

Keep sending us the information to post on our website. We try our best to keep it fresh.

Stay tuned to www.stmainst.org for more updates!

We add information on a weekly basis so don't miss anything!

The Business Roundtable will be meeting at 12:30 pm on Tuesday, September 9 at Mi Ranchita.

The purpose of the Business Roundtable has always been to offer local business people a chance to network over lunch. Over the last two years, the Roundtable participants have been sampling the cuisine at variety of restaurants including ones that people overlook or forget.

Mi Ranchita is one of those delightful places that most of our volunteers have not tried. The restaurant is located at 38 Broad Street, Souderton, next to 2 Fratelli's.

Please RSVP to Erika to let us know if you are going to join us as we enjoy Spanish food from a variety of countries.

  • Univest Grand Prix, Rain or Shine
  • The weather stations are warning that the remnants of Hurricane Hanna will be moving over our area. Consequently, we will not be manning a booth at the Univest Plaza. We always count volunteers to stop by to work at the booth for an hour or so to hand out material. With wet weather, we cannot count on having enough volunteers available.

Of course, the race will be run rain or shine. The weather won't stop the racers and it makes the race even more exciting. Think about the hills, tight turns and fast speeds these intrepid racers will encounter.

Whoever wins the Univest Grand Prix this year will be someone to watch at the Tour De France next year! See you at the race!

Dont forget to watch live coverage on WFMZ.

  • Indian Valley Farmers Market is Blossoming
  • Rays' 2008

The Indian Valley Farmers Market has been growing this year as new vendors join the market. Our Market manager, Annie Palazzo, has posted descriptions of the vendors and photos of the tables groaning with the weight of fresh fruit and produce. Looking at our market website can make you hungry! Stop by every Saturday from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm at the Marketplace at Telford Station.

  • Reefer Madness
  • Don't forget to get your tickets for Reefer Madness at Montgomery Theater! This is a ground breaking show on so many levels.

The easiest way to support our revitalization efforts is to attend a show at where all the revitalization efforts started...at the Montgomery Theater.

  • Staycations
  • Staycations is this summer's term for visiting festivals, museums and other attractions within easy driving distance from home. (We called them day trips, when I was growing up.) The best part of staycations is that you can take them all year long.

Souderton-Telford Main Streets has been partnering with the Heritage Conservancy to create a calendar of all the events along the Route 113 Heritage Corridor. Check out the calendarand enjoy a staycation along Route 113!

  • Placemats with Calendars
  • The Heritage Conservancy put the calendar of events for 2008 on a place mat and printed up a couple of thousand of them. Anyone who is serving meals and could use some free place mats with this calendar on it, contact the office, we have a large stack and can easily get more.

  • Final Note On Con. Charlie Dent's Visit
  • We got the check.

What more needs to be said? Actually, the money will come by wire transfer at some point. But we have the giant check that cannot be taken to the bank.
