Jerry Nugent, director of the Montgomery
County Redevelopment Authority , will be
attending the High School Stakeholders
Meeting on Thursday, August 7 at 8:30
a.m. at
Souderton Borough Hall.
We will be
discussing the benefits of including downtown
Souderton in the economic redevelopment
district planning. We will also be talking
about the procedures for enacting economic
redevelopment districts and how Main Streets
can assist this process. Please plan to
attend and participate in the discussion.

| Reminder: The Business Roundtable |

The Business Roundtable will be held
on Tuesday, August 12 at 12:30 am. To
celebrate August and the casual summer food,
we will be meeting at the new Pavilion next
to Telford Treats by the Tracks at the
Marketplace at Telford Station.
Come enjoy
the summer cuisine of hamburgers, hot dogs,
grilled chicken and, of course, Irish Water
Ice and ice cream. Please RSVP so
we know
how many seats to save.

Now in our fifth year, it's time for
Souderton-Telford Main Streets to plan our
goals for the next five years.
To do that properly, we need your
participation. If you are a committee
member or just interested in the long-term
outcome of our projects, please plan to
attend our Quarterly Board of Directors
meeting. We will host it at the Main
Streets office at 6:30 pm on Thursday, August
21.
Your input is
valued and needed. Food will be provided.

| Here comes the big check! |

In addition to winning the Montgomery
Revitalization Award, we are
proud to announce that Congressman
Charles Dent will be coming to Telford
to present a
check for $245,000 to Telford
Borough. These
funds will be used pay a portion of the
renovation work that was done on the rail
buildings and the construction of the
pavilion at the Marketplace at Telford Station.
Plan to join Souderton-Telford Main Streets
and Telford Borough officials on Thursday,
August 28th at 10 a.m. We will congregate
under the pavilion next to Telford Treats by
the Tracks to celebrate Congressman Dent's
assistance with our project.

The Indian
Valley Farmers' Market has three farmers
with a wide selection of the freshest local
produce and
fruit. Three bakers featuring an amazing

Wrap up the summer with an evening of
Karaoke. On Saturday, August 30,
Telford
Treats by the Tracks will be hosting the
inaugural Karaoke Night from 7 pm to 9
pm.
With music by Jimmy D. this sounds like an
evening of fun for the entire family. Bring
your lawn chairs and enjoy the ice cream,
Irish Water Ice and the entertainment.

| The Univest Grand Prix is coming! |

You can learn about all the exciting
activities surrounding the annual race on

Cycling, Inc. and race promoter for the
Univest
Grand Prix, will be the speaker at a
Membership Luncheon to be held Thursday,
August 14, 12 noon.
