We will also be talking about the procedures for enacting economic redevelopment districts and how Main Streets can assist this process. Please plan to attend and participate in the discussion.

Review past presentations on the High School Redevelopment projects.

  • Reminder: The Business Roundtable
  • The Business Roundtable will be held on Tuesday, August 12 at 12:30 am. To celebrate August and the casual summer food, we will be meeting at the new Pavilion next to Telford Treats by the Tracks at the Marketplace at Telford Station.

Come enjoy the summer cuisine of hamburgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken and, of course, Irish Water Ice and ice cream. Please RSVP so we know how many seats to save.

  • Must Attend Event!
  • Now in our fifth year, it's time for Souderton-Telford Main Streets to plan our goals for the next five years.

To do that properly, we need your participation. If you are a committee member or just interested in the long-term outcome of our projects, please plan to attend our Quarterly Board of Directors meeting. We will host it at the Main Streets office at 6:30 pm on Thursday, August 21.

Your input is valued and needed. Food will be provided. Please plan to attend. RSVP so we know how much food to order.

  • Here comes the big check!
  • Ribbon cutting with Con. Dent at Assou's

In addition to winning the Montgomery Revitalization Award, we are proud to announce that Congressman Charles Dent will be coming to Telford to present a check for $245,000 to Telford Borough. These funds will be used pay a portion of the renovation work that was done on the rail buildings and the construction of the pavilion at the Marketplace at Telford Station.

Plan to join Souderton-Telford Main Streets and Telford Borough officials on Thursday, August 28th at 10 a.m. We will congregate under the pavilion next to Telford Treats by the Tracks to celebrate Congressman Dent's assistance with our project.

  • Have You Been to the Indian Valley Farmers' Market Lately?
  • Annies rugs

The Indian Valley Farmers' Market has three farmers with a wide selection of the freshest local produce and fruit. Three bakers featuring an amazing selection of baked goods. Organic soap made from a byproduct of biodiesel fuel. Handmade rugs that will become heirlooms.

And this week, we have a local woodworker from Telford bringing his custom-made furniture. Top that off this Saturday with classic bluegrass music sponsored by Sitecats Web Development and you have the perfect Saturday morning.

The market opens at the Marketplace at Telford Station at 8:30 a.m. and runs to 12:30 p.m.

If the top chefs from our local restaurants are shopping there, why aren't you?

  • Sing Your Heart Out
  • Wrap up the summer with an evening of Karaoke. On Saturday, August 30, Telford Treats by the Tracks will be hosting the inaugural Karaoke Night from 7 pm to 9 pm.

With music by Jimmy D. this sounds like an evening of fun for the entire family. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the ice cream, Irish Water Ice and the entertainment.

Don't forget about Wednesday night Cruise Night at Telford Treats by The Tracks every week!
