Very Important Meeting For Our Future
Souderton-Telford Main Streets is five years
old and we are at the end of our original
five-year plan. It
is time to review what we have accomplished
and what is ahead.
To that end, all committee volunteers and anyone
interested in participating as we plan our
goals for the next five years is invited to a
special meeting.
Plan to attend the Quarterly Board of
Directors meeting on Thursday, August
21at 6:30 pm
at the Souderton-Telford Main Streets office.
We are requesting an RSVP so
we can provide food and refreshments.

We are proud to announce that Congressman
Charles Dent will be coming to Telford to
present a check for $245,000 to Telford
Borough.
These funds will be used pay for a portion of the
renovation work that was done on the rail
buildings and the construction of the pavilion.
Plan to join Souderton-Telford Main Streets
and Telford Borough officials on Thursday,
August 28th at 10 am. We will congregate
under the new Pavilion next to Telford Treats by
the Tracks to celebrate Congressman Dent's
assistance with our project.

| Reminder: Business Roundtable |
| |
The Business Roundtable will meet at 12:30
pm
on August 12. It will be located at the
Pavilion next to Telford Treats By the
Tracks. The Business Roundtable meets on the
second Tuesday of every month.

| Will Frischkorn in the 2008 Tour de France! |
| |
Last year's Univest Grand Prix, Souderton
Road Race winner Will Frischkorn
participated
in his first Tour de France on the
Garmin-Chipotle team.
The Tour de France lasted from July 3-27. Of
the Tour, Frischkorn
said, "It's been fantastic, a great experience."
Plan to attend the 2008 Univest Grand Prix on
Saturday, September 6. Watch our website for
details as they come available.

| Economic Redevelopment Districts for Souderton |
| |
Join us for a meeting on Thursday, August
7 at 8:30 am to learn about Economic
Redevelopment Districts and how they can be
used as a revitalization tool.
Jerry Nugent from the Montgomery
County Redevelopment Authority will be
speaking at
the Souderton Council Chamber on this
topic.
This meeting is part of our ongoing search
for tools for the redevelopment
of the high school site and the
revitalization of downtown.

| Entertaining at Reliance Inn |
| |
The next scheduled entertainment at Reliance
Inn will be on August 1, featuring
Reliance
favorite Woody Poles, who will be
performing
from 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm. His music features
upbeat reggae, world jazz and island music.

| Cruise Night |
| |
Telford Treats By the Tracks will be hosting
a "Cruise Night" every Wednesday night
throughout
the summer. Bring your classic automobiles
into the Telford Marketplace lot and parade,
all while eating ice cream!

be closing at 4:00pm on Mondays and Tuesdays
