Anders-Detwiler Funeral Home and Crematory
is celebrating their 75th Anniversary in
Souderton with a major building expansion
to add their own cremation facility, increase
the size of their visitation/ chapel area and
to present a wider selection of urns and
caskets.
They are inviting their friends and neighbors
to an Open
House on Saturday, June 14 from
9 am to 8 pm and on Sunday, June 15 form 1 -6
pm.
An old Girls Scout ditty says "Make new
friends and keep the old; one is sliver and
the other is gold." As another generation
joins this longtime family business, we
appreciate the gold standard they have set
for our community. We are as proud to
celebrate our established businesses as we
are to welcome new ones.

| Ribbons and Rails |

Congressman Charles Dent will lead a long
list of local dignitaries who will be in
Telford on Monday, June 16 at 2:30 pm
to celebrate the opening of the two new
businesses in the Telford Marketplace (Penn
Avenue and Main Street, Telford). Four
levels of government have provided some form
of funding for that project, so we sent out a
lot of invitations!
Stop by to join in the festivities and shake
a few hands to thank everyone who helped
Telford Borough and Souderton-Telford Main
Streets to make the vision of a revitalized
downtown Telford come true.
We will be cutting ribbons at Assou's
Bistro
and at the Telford Treats by the
Tracks. Of
course, there will be food!

| Melodia Grill Grand Opening Celebration |
| |
Sequon and Tim Lan invite you to join them in
a week-long Grand Opening Celebration
from June 16 through June 21. They are
offering free Iced Coffee, Iced Tea and soft
drinks with any purchase.
They are also featuring a live musical
performance by the Josh Washam Trio on
Saturday, June 21 from 2 pm to 4:30 pm.
This local group of music students will
be the start of the musical repertoire that
inspired the name "Melodia
Grill. Sequon
plans to have music on a regular basis to
enhance the dining experience.

| Indian Valley Farmers' Market |

With the rain and warm weather, the farmers
should be ready with a full selection of
crops for the opening of the 7th Annual Indian Valley
Farmers' Market on Saturday, July
5. Look for the new graphics, new
banners, and a whole new feel to the market
this year.
With the opening of Assou's Bistro and
Telford Treats by the Tracks, we will have a
cool place to spend the morning. Start your
morning with fresh donuts from Treats by the
Tracks. When the market opens at 8:30 am,
shop at the market vendors for fruits,
vegetables and baked goodies. Take a break at
one of the tables under the umbrellas at
Assou's Bistro and recharge with a cappuccino
and either breakfast or lunch. Socialize with
your neighbors and friends while the morning
warms up. When the Indian Valley Farmers'
Market vendors begin clean up at 12:30,
stroll back to Treats by the Tracks and enjoy
some Irish Ice or a hot dog.
