Tebitha Martin, Asmaa Lhedmat Sadadoi and Sarah Mattern stand ready to take orders at Assou's Bistro. Just in time to celebrate the start of Summer, Assou's Bistro is open!

This long-awaited restaurant is located in the historic Telford Train Station. Stop by to dine inside the newly renovated building or enjoy the sun and warm weather at a table under an umbrella outside!

The menu features the freshest soup, salads, panini sandwiches, stromboli, calzones and pizzas. And these are not standard pizzas. Where else can you find pizza toppings such as shrimp, smoked salmon or roast beef?

The Bistro will be open seven days a week from 6 am to 10 pm on Monday through Thursday, 6 am to 11 pm on Friday and Saturday and 9 am to 9 pm on Sunday. They will be serving breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as espressos and cappuccinos.

Telford Treats by the Tracks will be opening next week.

Although they have been working at an unbelievable pace, they did not make their goal of opening for Memorial Day. The construction work is done but they could not get all their inspections completed in time.

Not to worry. Once they open next Wednesday, we will forgive them anything after trying their Irish Ice. And their ice cream and hamburgers and hot dogs and fries and funnel cakes and.....

You get the picture. The variety of food choices in Telford is expanding tremendously. Stroll down there over the next few weeks and remember why we love living in small towns.
