Thanks to everyone who caught the change at Hometown Favorites. The former owners sold the business and the new sign was installed the same day we mentioned that the Business Roundtable was going there. We received several emails and calls from alert readers.

Deb called and the new owners are happy to have us meet there. The Business Roundtable will be held at the Sopranos II on Tuesday, May 13 at 12:30 pm . They are located in the former Hometown Favorites, at 669 East Broad Street.

This group loves to get out and about. This month they will be meeting at the Reliance on Tuesday, May 13 from 5 pm to 7 pm.

This new group at the Indian Valley Chamber is a fun networking opportunity. Get your month's worth of networking with these two events on the same day and eat well in the process!

Last year, this event met with overwhelming success. Although the event was advertised to run until 4 pm, everyone was out of food by 3 pm! Both the restaurants and the market vendors made numerous trips for more food but by 3 pm it was all gone!

This year we are looking to expand the festival to include food processors and community groups. Check out the material at the Indian Valley Farmers' Market. The market website has been redesigned to reflect the new look

Stop by the Souderton-Telford Main Streets office to pick up postcards to promote the festival. We have been told that they will be future collector's items.

A Multicultural Festival will be held on Saturday, May 17 at 4 pm at the Souderton Mennonite Church at 105 West Chestnut Street.

It's a celebration of the Indian Valley's cultural diversity. Come and learn about the unique customs and traditions of your neighbors and share your own with Spanish-speaking people from various countries.

There will be folk music, typical dresses, ethnic food and drink plus games and prizes for the kids.

Plan to take her to the Souderton Mennonite Home's Mother's Day Plant Sale, "Left Behind Treasures Flea Market, and Bake Sale on Saturday, May 10 at the Pavilion at SMH.

We have invited over 100 local non-profit organizations to join in the fun of the Field to the Table Food Festival. They can reserve a space for $25 for the day. That reservation fee will be refunded to any group that provides 5 volunteers for set up or tear down of the festival.

The groups can do fund-raising, raise awareness, host kids activities and have fun. We just ask that they do not do a food- related fund raiser since we will have so much food already.

In June, we will take the Business Roundtable to Melodia Grill at 667 East Broad Street in Souderton.

In July and August, we will be heading to Telford to have lunch at Assou's Bistro and Telford Treats by the Tracks.

In September, we will come back to Souderton to sample the Spanish food at Mi Ranchito.
