A public workshop is scheduled to discuss the
possible uses of the old High School site.
If you are a resident, business owner,
property owner or you are just curious what
others are thinking, please plan to be at the
Souderton Borough Chambers at 7pm on
Wednesday, March 19, 2008. This meeting
is a workshop for the Souderton Planning
Commission.

Design and Planning is looking for
your best ideas about future uses for the
site. These 18+ acres represent an
opportunity to be creative in planning for
the future of our community. Whether you are
from Souderton or Telford, please plan to
come share your ideas. this project will
impact both boroughs for a very long time.

This is the first step in a process
that will
continue into the summer. this step is
strictly an idea gathering forum. We are
looking for ideas and then Victor
DePallo and
his staff will filter those ideas through
what the marketplace will support and what is
physically possible on the site.
They will bring back their preliminary
recommendations at the next public meeting.

| Art Deco . . . and other considerations |

As you think about this site, please consider
the three options for the existing buildings:
- Keep all the buildings.
- Keep some of the buildings and tear down
others. (Consider future uses for the
theater, gymnasium, pool, and the art deco
facade on the original structure.)
- Demolish all the buildings and start from
scratch.
We are brainstorming and your opinion is
necessary. This meeting should be lively and
fun. See you Wednesday night at 7pm at the
Souderton Borough Chambers.
