Souderton-Telford Main Streets would like to
congratulate all our elected officials who
won in yesterday's election. Whether they
have already served in office or are stepping
up for the first time, these men and women
are willing to spend hours each week away
from their families to work to improve our
communities on our behalf.
Whether they are educating themselves about
issues, talking to constituents, sitting in
meetings or, occasionally, facing hostile
audiences at public meetings, the elected
officials of our communities spend many hours
working for the benefit of you and your loved
ones.
Our program is strong because we have a solid
working relationship with the elected and
appointed officials and staff in both
boroughs. Our bylaws require a councilperson
and a representative from the planning
commission from each borough.
Consequently, Andy Schlosser and Barry
Stoltzfus from Souderton and Scott
Hillegass
and Dan Wurst from Telford are filling
those
positions respectively.
Thanks to yesterday's election, original
board member John Reynolds and board
member
Jeffrey Gross are also municipal
officials,
mayor and councilman respectively. The
Souderton-Telford Main Streets will continue
to be a pro-active force to revitalize our
downtowns and make Souderton and Telford the
best that they can be.
