| A Valentine’s Treat – Love shows up when you least expect it! |

The Montgomery Theater Presents "A Good
Look at Boney Kern" by Jonathan Daly
The delightful romantic comedy “A Good Look
at Boney Kern” by Jonathan Daly opens to the
public on Valentine’s Day. This hilarious
heartwarming play comes to the Montgomery
Theater in Souderton through the generous
sponsorship of THP.
Boney Kern is a middle-aged confirmed
bachelor who rents a room in a comfortable
old house for the summer. He's a high school
English teacher taking courses towards a
master's degree who needs the room to sleep,
study and occasionally tutor college
students. During his short stay, he
encounters multiple absurdities presented by
the offbeat elderly woman from whom he leases
the space. Through the process, he falls in
love with a young blind girl, ignoring the
objections of her overprotective grandmother,
his landlady. The interaction among this trio
takes the audience on a roller coaster of
emotions, both funny and sentimental, with a
bit of old-fashioned charm and just enough
zaniness to amuse even the skeptical. Read
