  • We will hold the next Business Roundtable on Tuesday, November 14 at 12:30 p.m. at < ah ref="http://www.stmainst.org/carusobrickoven.html" target="_blank">Caruso’s Brick Oven Trattoria. We will be meeting downstairs. Come check out the renovations as they improve the exterior to reflect the quality of the interior. RSVP to the Souderton-Telford Main Streets office at pam@stmainst.org or 215-723-6627.

    The Business Roundtable is an open monthly meeting of business owners in Souderton and Telford. They meet over lunch to discuss topics related to the Souderton–Telford Main Streets efforts to revitalize the business community. This is a great networking opportunity and a chance to share your ideas and concerns. Each month, the group explores local flavor at a different restaurant in the boroughs.

  • Join the Holiday Parade on Saturday, December 2
  • Santa and Mrs. Claus in the 2005 Souderton Holiday Parade

    The annual Souderton Holiday Parade will be held on Saturday, Dec. 2 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., or so. The route begins at Grace Bible Church and travels down Main Street, makes a left onto Broad Street and concludes at the Souderton Area High School. We are still accepting applications for businesses or organizations that want to participate in the parade. The Promotions Committee is also looking for volunteers on the day of the event. Contact the Souderton-Telford Main Streets office at pam@stmainst.org or 215-723-6627 to volunteer.

  • Ribbon Cutting

    The Economic Restructuring Committee is producing a ribbon cutting every two weeks to keep up with the demand. The next ribbon cutting is on Wednesday, Nov. 15 at 11:30 a.m. at Travel Haus. They are located at 131 East Broad Street, Souderton. Everyone is encouraged to stop by before they head off to lunch.

    Come see “The Desk Set” at the Montgomery Theater, running from November 15 through December 9. The Tracy and Hepburn movie was great fun and the play will offer a new perspective on this timeless story.

  • Open Houses on the Return of Passenger Rail Service
  • Rail Line

    The return of passenger service from Lansdale to Quakertown is an issue that will have an impact on the quality of life in this region. Plan to attend one of the meetings to learn more about this topic at Hatfield Township Building, Nov. 14; Perkasie Borough Hall, Nov. 15; or Quakertown Train Station, Nov. 16. All open houses will run from 6 to 8 p.m. with a short presentation at 6:30 p.m.
