After a LONG winter, I'm enjoying a St. Patrick's Day filled with lots o' sun and warmth. The temperatures today are in the mid 60's - truly "balmy" for a March day in Cleveland!
 Now is a great time to think about adding some "heat" to your business. Think about one thing you have wanted to do in your business, but you've been putting off. Maybe it's adding a new service, calling an elusive prospect, redesigning your website or blog... Make the decision today to take that first step before the end of the month.

Writing a Winning Press Release
 Garnering press is of the utmost importance to you and the growth of your business. One of the most powerful tools, the press release, is used by most everyone - from the Associated Press to small companies and, of course, by entrepreneurs. How do you write a press release? How do you ensure that your press release does what is intended? Writing a press release is not very difficult, if you know what should be included and how to make it shine.
The Title should be compelling, succinct, relevant, and newsworthy.
The 1st Paragraph should answer the "who, what, where" questions and provide very specific pieces of information.
The 2nd Paragraph should illustrate the points and statements made in the first paragraph, to expand on those statements, and to bring in third party supporting statements, if applicable.
The Final Paragraph should give the reader another source of contact information and a bit of information about you and your company.
In writing your press release, avoid "salesy" sounding language. Remember, this is news, not a sales pitch. Second, avoid anything that detracts from the brevity, the interest, or the accuracy of the press release. Keep it clear, interesting, and accurate, and your press release will garner the interest that you want.
