Art Criticism in the Digital Age: An Interactive Seminar

Leanne Goebel Ability: All Levels

What is the future of art criticism? Changes in print media have created a new paradigm where traditional avenues of discourse by professional art critics may be in danger. This leaves a question unanswered: Will the emergence of art blogs and digital art publications provide an informed discussion about contemporary art? Join us as a panel of art critics, artists and gallerists discuss the fast-changing world of art criticism in print and digital media. Following the panel discussion, seminar participants will meet in small groups to respond to the question, briefly present their ideas to the group, and hear the closing comments of the panel.

Saturday, 1-4 pm | Sept 15, 2012 | Register by 9/9

$15 for 1 day, $25 for non-members
