As a Learning and Development professional, I have used case studies during many training events. While I find them very useful, I have not found any "ready made" case studies that I could easily use no matter what the topic of the training. It is time-consuming to develop these during the preparation for a learning event. I was delighted to find CaseCards just in time for a training event where we introduced our new Performance, Development and Review process to our managers. I used 5 of the CaseCards from the "Downward Feedback" deck for practicing our feedback methodology. Our participants were easily able to relate to the situations described and generated very useful, insightful discussions. Our Human Resources Manager was so impressed that he asked for another set to take with him for a learning event at our facility in Haina, Dominican Republic. I am so thankful for this tool and will be able to use and apply it in other learning events, reducing the development time. Over time, I hope to purchase all the decks!
