What is it about weather becoming warmer that compels us to clean and organize? We also notice a rise in handwritten signs for "garage sales".....so we thought, why not do the same here? Alas, no garage, but we do have a pop up tent! Behold, A TENT SALE!*
Just like Home Depot, Knit-a-Bit is having a TENT SALE!!+
On Saturday, March 31st and Sunday April 1st, during regular store hours, we will have a selection of yarns under a tent that are on sale! Make us an offer per skein and we will negotiate an ideal price that we guarantee will be a steal! No further discounts are applicable and all sales are final! We have limited quantities and will no longer be carrying these select yarns! Show us your bargaining skills! Make us a deal we can't refuse! This is NOT an April Fools joke!!
*Due to space restrictions, please don't be surprised if we don't actually put the tent up....it very well may be an indoor sidewalk sale in the hallway! Stay tuned!

Pattern of the Week Ruffled Ballerina Shrug

No ballerina should go without a shrug to keep muscles warm! This adorable little shrug bases the pattern on the yarn, not necessarily the math, to quote the designer, "no gauge, be free". Not to confuse you or anything, but the sizes of this garment will be determined by the yarn that you choose. That being said, the Cotton Supreme Batik featured above would be adorable worked up on a size 8 resulting in a toddler sized shrug. Come see the numerous yarns that could be used for this cute little accessory! Don't worry, we'll help you figure out the math for the shrug but we will offer you 20% off the pattern!

It's always good to view the pictures that you take using your phone...you may be pleasantly surprised! I was surprised that I took the pictures yet forgot to put them in the finished object gallery! Silly me!

This spectacular sampler afghan was completed by Sue M. in Lynn's Sampler class! Sue used Comfort Worsted and it is truly an heirloom! Beautiful job!
Aileen loves knitting up the Last Minute Baby Sweater and did an awesome job! Using that "reliable" yarn, Comfort Chunky, this didn't take long to complete at all! Way to go Aileen!
I owe the crafter creator of this adorable dinosaur/creature more than one apology! I have forgotten her name and I took way too long to feature this great creative use of yarn! It is absolutely adorable! Please forgive me! |
