June 30 is your last chance to be a Front Row Theater Donor! The Village Theater Company, announced plans in December to bring a family movie theater back to Sewickley that screens not only American independent and foreign films, but also second-run and older films. The former Ascot Imported Cars Inc. site has been pegged as the potential location for the theater. Plans are to open the theater in mid-2013, though the official start date is directly tied to the success of fundraising efforts. Initial capital raised will enable the group to fund both theater construction and a minimum of six months of operations.
If you act before June 30th you can get a 'Front Row' seat. Any donor who pledges any amount before June 30th will become a Front Row Member. Front Row Members will be invited to the first movie ever shown at the Village Theater. To make a tax-deductible contribution to the theater, please make a pledge online at villagetheatercompany.com/make-a-pledge.The Sewickley Eye Group has the sunglasses for you this summer!
