Cheers is closing it's doors...

After nearly 40 years, one of the landmark stores in the Village will be closing. The current owner, Jeanne DeFazio, has had the store for the past 12 years and will be retiring in the spring. The initial retirement plans were delayed by almost 2 years because there were so many empty store fronts at that time. "Now is the right time for us" says Jeanne. "The town is looking great with many new shops and restaurants, and it's time for us to relax, maybe travel a little and enjoy our grandson, Evan, who will be a "big brother" this summer when his mother delivers our second grandchild."

Tom and Jeanne plan on staying in Sewickley, as they love it here and have no intention at all of moving. They own the Cheers building, which is currently listed for either sale or lease, and would love to see someone come in and carry on the legacy of Cheers.

The retirement sale has begun!  All regularly priced merchandise is 20% off with Christmas (other than their collectibles) at 50% off.  Furniture and antiques are also on sale with as much as 50% off.

"We want to thank all of our loyal customers throughout the years, we will miss you, but being here in the Village, we will most likely run into a lot of you.  Please stop in!"
