Union Aid Society Annual Community Thanksgiving Program

The Union Aid Society is organizing its annual Thanksgiving food program for 2011.  Please pluck a "turkey" from a gift tree and purchase a grocery store gift card to benefit a family or individual in need.  The organization is counting on the continued generosity of the community to help neighbors this holiday season.  The Turkey Trees will be located at the YMCA, Sewickley Library and Safran's Market.  For more information click here. 

Sewickley YMCA is hosting a Spin-a-thon on Saturday, November 12th from 7:00am to 5:00pm.  Registration is $500 per team.  No limit to the size of each team.  All the money raised will go to the Changing Lives Campaign which enables families who would otherwise not be able to utilize the Y's facilities to do so.  A $1,000 Trek gift card is on the line, registration is due by Friday, November 11th.  Contact Adriane Stoner at 412-741-9622 x 120 or email astoner@sewickleyymca.org.
