Speaker Series Features Director Rob Marshall | The Institute for the Management of Creative Enterprises presents the Steiner Speaker Series featuring Rob Marshall (A'82), one of the most accomplished directors of the past 20 years. Marshall, whose films have won nine academy awards, will speak at noon, Friday, March 23 in the Philip Chosky Theater, Purnell Center for the Arts. A reception with Marshall will follow the lecture.
Admission is free, but a ticket is required, and seating is limited. Reserve tickets by calling or visiting the School of Drama Box Office at 412-268-2407.

Programs Retain No. 1 Rankings in US News | Two Carnegie Mellon graduate courses of study - information and technology management at the Heinz College and multimedia/visual communications at the College of Fine Arts - have held on to their number one rankings in U.S. News & World Report's 2013 "America's Best Graduate Schools." Both tracks were ranked No. 1 in 2009, the last time U.S. News & World Report rated programs in these categories. In other 2013 graduate rankings, CMU's College of Engineering was rated seventh overall, the College of Fine Arts ranked seventh overall, the Heinz College ranked ninth overall in public affairs and the Tepper School of Business' full-time MBA program ranked 18th overall.

Festival Brings 2 Sundance Winners to Pittsburgh | Running March 22 through April 15, CMU's International Film Festival, "Faces of Others," uses a record 20 films to explore the concept of the other - or anything that is not us.
