Greetings! We are proud to announce the completion of Advanced Home Theater's second Lürssen super yacht integration. If you are unfamiliar with Lürssen, they are one of the largest private yacht manufactures in the world. The first Lurssen project AHT integrated was a 78.50-meter super yacht called "Mad Summer". The "Mad Summer" can be seen in the AHT completed projects gallery on the right side. Although the name and pictures of this latest Lürssen vessel has yet to be released to the public, what we can say is this super yacht reaches a length of 60 meters and has a fully integrated Crestron DM (fiber optic) system that distributes 49 zones of audio and video utilizing the latest in Crestron touchscreen technology. The Crestron system controls nine television lifts. There is a first-class theater room that AHT crafted as well as a full blown phone system throughout the ship. The project was integrated in Germany at the Lürssen shipyard for a good portion of the past three months. We received this email a couple days ago from Frank Hölzel one of the project managers at Lürssen. Frank was kind enough to allow us to share his thoughts. Dear All, Now that I am back from my holiday and see that the yacht is gone, I hear from all of my colleagues that they are more than happy with the work that you have done the last few months. I would like to thank all of you very much from my side. It was very easy and fun to work with you. I hope very much that we will do the next project together. As I have not all of your e-mail addresses, could you please be so kind and tell your other colleagues that I would like to say thank you, perfect job! Best regards, Frank From our experience with working with Lürssen on these past two integrations, we found their reputation of being the worlds finest shipyard is more then speculation. They strive for excellence in all aspects of their projects. They create an atmosphere where all contractors want to achieve the finest outcome possible. It has been a pleasure to work along side such a professional group. We look forward to integrating more projects along side Lürssen as well as other shipyards and home builders that reach for the same excellence. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As always, below is the latest news from the Advanced Home Theater AV Design Blog. In this months posts, we discuss 3D, film, and business from a Dreamworks Animation CEO point of view. The first ever AV design television show hit the airwaves this past month on DIY Network. We compiled a list of 30 unique furnishings that we found intriguing. We also discuss the sophisticated and yet simplistic lighting design by Uli and Friends. And, we also touched on landscape audio design from an AHT perspective. If you have an idea for a future blog post, please share it! We are always open to collaboration and new thoughts from our clients, industry partners, and the rest of our AHT community following. From everyone at Advanced Home Theater, thanks for being a part of our community! |
