The Chamber has been active with several events in the last few weeks. Be sure to tune in next week as we bring you updates on LobsterFest, Business Development Week and much more! We are pleased to announce Amy Denison will be the next Executive Director of Leadership Beaumont.  Amy is a 2006 graduate of Leadership Beaumont and currently serves on the Leadership Beaumont Advisory Council and LeadershipBeaumont Chamber Foundation Board of Directors. She chaired the Leadership Beaumont Alumni Meeting in 2010 and just completed chairing Leadership Beaumont's 40thanniversary celebration this week. Since 2006, she was been the Human Resource Director for American Valve & Hydrant. She comes to us with 17-years of employment experience with one of our major employers and with a strong employer viewpoint of leadership development. Amy is a graduate of Lamar University with a bachelor of business administration degree. Her major field of study was marketing. She also comes from leadership stock since her father is former chairman of the board of directors for the Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce, Dalton Babineaux. Amy has a passion for leadership and it is her passion that will make a difference with our future leadership development efforts. |
